The collection grew from a focus on fabric manipulation and its relationship to garment form and shape and has developed to encompass all aspects of print, embroidery, knitwear, jersey and wovens to complement these garment concept pieces in an inspirational, extensive collection, keeping fashion at the centre of our approach throughout.
We use traditional techniques and re-invent them through experimentation for a contemporary market. These include draping, pleating, macrame, cutwork, fagoting and applique. Our print collection includes original digital and screen-printed artworks developed from primary research, drawing and mark-making, original photography and digitally manipulated pattern and texture. We provide discs for all designs except those that are hand painted directly onto fabric.
We provide unique swatches to both designer and high street brands and also work in collaboration with clients to develop product for specific ranges. Customers include Jaeger, Pringle, Temperley, Reiss, Whistles, ASOS and Topshop in the UK; Donna Karan, DVF, Calvin Klein, J Crew, Banana Republic and Urban Outfitters in the US and Vanessa Bruno, Moschino, Maje, Kookai and Etro in Europe, amongst many others.
Larch Rose make monthly sales trips to London, New York, LA and the West Coast. We also visit Australia, Hong Kong, Paris, Italy and welcome inquiries from new or existing clients who would like to book an appointment either in these territories or the rest of the world.
